Come on in . . .

You'll find a comfortable sofa and chairs in the living room, and room round the table for up to 6 people. The cable TV system receives all English channels as well as movie and sports channels, and the DVD player (bring your own DVDs) offers additional indoor entertainment. All the conveniences of home are provided, including a hair dryer, hand & dish soap, adapter plugs, and extra sheets in case you need to fold out the sofa into a bed--REALLY comfortable.


The kitchen . . .

You should find everything you need for self-catering in the kitchen--a 4 ring stove, freezer, fridge, grill, microwave, oven, toaster, tea pot, washing machine, etc.


And the rest . . .

The bathroom is between the two bedrooms: The master bedroom, with a built-in closet and comfortable king-sized double bed that can be made into singles if preferred, plus chair, bedside tables and lamps, overlooks your sunny patio. The second bedroom has 2 single beds and additional storage space plus bedside cabinets with lamps.

All linens, blankets and towels are provided for you, so you don't have to pay that extra baggage cost on Ryanair! (Bring your own beach towels, though.) Oh, and don't worry if you get in late and the shops are closed--you'll find shower gel and hand soap in the bathroom already, and teabags & coffee in the kitchen cupboards.


Out of doors . . .

Since the Costa Blanca boasts 320 days a year of sunshine, most people live outdoors; the large communal swimming pool is secure for residents only, and is only steps from your front door (check out our gallery for more pictures). Your private patio has a picnic table and four chairs, plus a BBQ grill for those long sunny evenings...

Once you're settled in to Alegría, why not hop in the car and check out the local beaches? There are at least 3 blue flag beaches within 10 minutes' drive--La Zenia, Playa Flamenca and Campoamor.

For the more energetic amongst you, we've already told you about the golf courses, but that's just the beginning. Let us know if you fancy a horse ride or go-karting or sailing, and we'll put you in touch with the right people.

Or, you could drive down the coast to enjoy the soft, mineral-laden air and try out a healthy mud bath at the Mar Menor.

Visit shops, water parks, and sea-side promenades at nearby Torrevieja or Alicante, enjoy a savoury Paella in historic Yecla, stroll through Murcia's cathedrals, taste Jumilla's wines and buy fresh olives in a different open-air market village every day of the week.


Then come 'home' to Alegría and watch the sunset from your pool side . . .
