Alegria is perfect for a family holiday away from the noisy main apartments. It is an excellent apartment with great access to beaches, pool, supermarkets, bars, restaurants, markets and all the things you need for a super holiday. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back again. It is extremely safe and child friendly. A must for all families for a quiet getaway.

Your apartment is delightful and you have it so well furnished and resourced. The mattresses were superb. We travelled quite a bit and...also visited the eateria in the hills mentioned in your helpful apt. info pack...It was always nice in the evenings to get back to our pad, which felt like home.

We really enjoyed our stay at this attractive and well equiped apartment. The friendly neighbours, sunny patio and nearby pool added to our enjoyment. We made good use of our hire car for days out at several different beaches that were all within easy driving distance. The market at San Miguel was worth a visit, although we bought most of our groceries at the Mercadona close to the apartment. There are a number of restaurants and bars within walking distance of the apartment. As the kitchen was so well equiped we were able to enjoy our own cooking too. We really appreciated the efforts made by the owner to ensure that the apartment was comfortable and had a travel cot, high chair and various toys in time for our stay.

The description is true--warn sunshine, breakfast on the terrace, then a swim before heading into the countryside driving through beautiful orange and lemon groves to enjoy the markets and a tapas lunch. Alegria is a restful, cosy place to stay, close to everything you need for a great holiday.

What a great little place to stay! It's convenient - nearby restaurants, internet cafe and a grocery store less than 5 minutes' walk. The clothes washer, darling kitchen, comfy furniture, cozy atmosphere and REALLY comfortable beds make it a great home away from home. I'd go back in a heartbeat!

a really lovely apartment. You need to hire acar to get from the airport to the apartment and also to get to the numerous lovely beaches. In the evenings we tended to drive downtown for dinner but there are restaurants and bars within walking distance. There is also a barbeque with the property so you can dine alfresco.well equipped throughout including parasol and beach chairs and even a coolbag for beach picnics.just arrive with your cases and its ahome from home!

My stay in Alegria was a most relaxing experience in the most comfortable of surroundings. The apartment was clean and welcoming and offered all the home comforts I could have asked for (and more besides). The sun graced the patio from early morning until late evening where I was able to sit and read, or lounge and sleep, and the swimming pool provided the perfect refreshing contrast when I wanted to cool down. The nearby supermarket and well equipped kitchen encouraged me to do plenty of cooking 'at home', and there were also good choices for eating out at several different types of restaurants, all within walking distance of the apartment. I hired a car for some of my stay which allowed me to travel easily to the nearby beaches and market, and to explore further along the coast and a little bit more inland. There was a lot of information provided in the apartment about options for all types of activities and day trips, and If I had been staying longer I would have been very interested in taking part in some of these. My stay in Alegria gave me some much needed tranquility and I would happily recommend it to others.

The weather was great and the beaches in the area are good. The apartment is newly built and finished to a high standard. It requires a car to be able to properly enjoy the area. For a holiday of sun, sea and relaxation it was ideal.

This is an excellent place to chill out. An immaculate, spacious apartment, very well equipped, including handy Area guide with useful tips.Lovely to sit outside and eat with just the noises of the evening and a lot of laughter from us.
A great place to hang out.. . . we'll be back:)

chilling out in alegria: Review Submitted Nov 2008

what a fantastically equipped property! comfortable beds, great bathroom, fullly equipped kitchen, south facing patio ,home from home! quiet residential area but within walking distance of shops and restuarants. pool was right next to apartment. nice sandy beaches nearby but car definately needed to get to them and to sight see the wonderful towns inland. cartagena only 25 miles on dual carriage way & had fantastic roman ruins and museums.parc calblanque in the same corner was beautiful unspoilt coastline. we will go back to explore the area further, was easy to pick up hire car and drive from alicante and we appreciated being met nearby and driven to the property as we arrived late at night.
